I believe real-life experiences deeply influence my work as a therapist. I have experienced the high pressures of the corporate world, cross-country moving, anxiety over layoffs, career change and other life stressors. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Marketing I went on to work as a Sales Supervisor for Wyndham Worldwide. Later I moved to Southern California, worked at a small marketing and advertising agency and went on to train for a management position at Enterprise. However, I found myself wanting a more meaningful life. All these experiences contribute to a special insight into the connection between relationships and careers.
I have been in a committed relationship since the summer of 2000 and have been married to my wonderful husband since 2006. I am happy to be back in Austin, Texas and enjoy reading, skiing, traveling and other adventures with my husband and 2 Dachshunds.
